Rison LB Suggs Nominated For Old Spice Red Zone POTY

Marvin Suggs the 5-foot-10, 190 pound senior linebacker from Rison has been nominated for the Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year Award.

All Player of the Year nominees will be considered by our awards committee for the honor of being one of our 50 Old Spice Red Zone Players of the Year. In addition to receiving a plaque and logoed fleece, the 50 national winners will be honored in a full-page ad in USA Today in February 2009, coinciding with the publication's National Letter of Intent Signing Day coverage.
Suggs is now eligible to be named one of 50 national Players of the Year. The Top 50 players Nationally will be named Red Zone Players of the Year and will receive a plaque and other awards.
High School coaches across the country were asked to name one player from their team as their Player of the Year. Each player will receive a certificate to acknowledge his accomplishment.
