With the 2013 Arkansas high school football season quickly approaching, I wanted to take a look at the 30 teams with the best records over the past five years. This list is not broken down by classification, but in order from top to bottom.
There were a few surprises when we broke down the numbers. There were a few teams that I figured would be in the Top 30, who didn't quite make the cut. Likewise, there were a few teams who made the cut who I wasn't sure of when I started tabulating numbers.
Without further ado, here is the list of teams in the Top 30 for the past five years.
As mentioned, there were a few surprising teams that didn't make the cut. Here's a look at a few of them, and their records.
Des Arc: 43-19 with no state titles.
Fort Smith Southside: 43-21 with no state titles
East Poinsett County: 42-14 with no state titles.
Bryant: 41-17 with no state titles.
North Little Rock: 41-18 with no state titles.
Fayetteville: 41-20 with two state titles.
Warren: 40-19 with no state titles.
