Key in-state games for 'Zero Week'

The Arkansas Activities Association will institute a “zero week” this year due to Proposal One of the 2016 governing body meeting passing by a 161-3 margin. This allows schools to schedule football games a week earlier, and provides the opportunity to play three non-conference games over a four week time period. It also allows any teams that play during zero week to schedule benefit (scrimmage) games up a week as well.

As you can assume, several teams have taken advantage of this, and will play during zero week in August. Below you will find the dates of several key games taking place during zero week.

8-24: Fort Smith Northside vs Rogers Heritage
