Jacksonville vs Cabot - Tuesday, August 31st

The Red Devils will break in new head coach Rick Russell when they take on Cabot tonight. You can
hardly call Russell new to the program though after spending 14 years with Jacksonville before a one
year stint with North Pulaski last season. The experience is certainly there for the Red Devils to have
success this season as 17 starters return for 2010. Key Stat: Jacksonville has managed to beat Cabot
only twice this decade-2004 and 2005-but their last three losses to them are by a combined 118-21.

Mike Malhan has his Panthers back to playing football the way Cabot fans are accustomed to. After
winning the title in 2000 Cabot had a slide in the win column from 2004-2007 where they went a
combined 21-21 and 0-2 in the play-offs. Back to back 10 wins seasons though have left Malhan and his
Panthers looking to finish even stronger this season. Key Stat: Springdale Har-Ber has ended Cabot's
season each of the past three years: 35-16 in '07, 21-17 in '08 and 14-10 in '09-a game Cabot led until
the final 24 seconds.
