The 2016 All-ArkansasVarsity football teams have been announced, and can be viewed below. Congratulations to the young men who have worked hard both on and off of the field to receive this well deserved recognition.
2016 ARKANSASVARSITY.COM MR.FOOTBALL
Today we also name our 2016 ArkansasVarsity.com Mr. Football, and he is none other than Fayetteville quarterback Taylor Powell.
Powell led Fayetteville to back-to-back Class 7A state titles, and was named MVP of the Class 7A state title game both years. In 2016, he passed for 3,473 yards and 44 touchdowns. For his career, Powell threw for 10,413 yards and 113 touchdowns.
Powell finished his career 5th in Arkansas history for passing yardage and 8th in touchdowns. He is committed to play college football for Wake Forrest.
