ArkansasVarsity.com (ArkansasVarsity LLC) has been covering Arkansas High School sports since the 2006 football season.

If you enjoy great in-state photos, videos, recruiting information, message board conversations, and inside information then you'll want to be a part of this website.

ArkansasVarsity.com covers the majority of in-state camps including several 7-on-7 camps, combines, and other activities to include high school and collegiate game coverage.

Publisher Luke Matheson has been involved with Rivals.com for several years and stepped into the publisher role in late 2007. He has been working on forming relationships with coaches, athletes, parents, and administrators since that time.

Also since the time that Luke has been publisher of ArkansasVarsity.com, he has formed partnerships with KATV Channel 7, KARZ 42 Arkansas Sports Nation, and Drive Time Sports.

ArkansasVarsity.com has also been featured on the front page of Yahoo.com, in the PBS Frontline documentary 'Football High', and in countless magazine articles and online blogs.

As a result of the partnerships, our continued growth, and various accomplishments, ArkansasVarsity.com is considered The Authority In Arkansas Prep Sports & Recruiting News.

Luke Matheson-Publisher of ArkansasVarsity.com
You won't find publishers as dedicated to their community, sports, and athletes as Luke Matheson . Luke handles the day-to-day operations on ArkansasVarsity in addition to assisting athletes at football camps, speaking at recruiting clinics, and helping Rivals.com identify and evaluate talent.

Luke is a graduate of Pine Bluff High School and served eight years in the United States Army. Upon being discharged honorably from the US Army in 2006, he worked as a staff writer for ArkansasVarsity.com, before being named publisher in late 2007.

Luke and his wife Sherri currently reside in White Hall with their two boys Noah and Dalton.

Sherri Matheson-Secretary - ArkansasVarsity.com
Sherri helps with the day to day operations of ArkansasVarsity.com. While most of her work is done behind the scenes, you will see her at events with the rest of the staff.

Sherri handles all registration duties for the ArkansasVarsity.com All-State Football Combine, in addition to promotional work. She spends a lot of time at events passing out ArkansasVarsity.com promotional material to spectators in attendance.

Sherri is a graduate of Sheridan High School and joined the staff of ArkansasVarsity.com in late 2007.

Sherri is married to ArkansasVarsity.com publisher Luke Matheson, and they currently reside in White Hall with their two boys Noah and Dalton.

Tarra Turney-ArkansasVarsity.com Staff Photographer
Tarra joined the ArkansasVarsity.com staff during the 2011 football season, and never looked back. She began taking photographs approximately eight years ago when her child started playing baseball, and her passion started from that moment on.

She has played or been involved in athletics her entire life, and she says that taking sports pics "just feels right".

Tarra is a graduate of Bryant high school, and is currently working towards a BA in intermediate education for math and science.

Tarra and her husband Robert currently reside in Benton with their three boys J.D., Brodie, and Curtis.
