GAME1 - TECH VS. HIGHLAND

The Skinny Highland has started the season off 2-0 and is averaging 34.5 points per game, while giving up only 10.5. They have some athletes who can get the job done, and will be looking for three straight against Greene County Tech. Tech is still searching for their first win of the season, and is averaging just 14 points per game, while giving up 40.5. They will need to up their offensive and defensive production both if they are win this game. Highland enjoys a 3-1 lead in this series.

vs
GREENE COUNTY TECH
HIGHLAND
Prediction: HIGHLAND

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

GREENE COUNTY TECH: QB Dylan Hartwig, RB Tyler Calver, WR Kyle Cupp, DE Braden Johnson,

HIGHLAND: ATH Avery Johnson, WR Deon Stewart, OL/DL Tyler Delargy, WR/DB Cody Odell

THE OUTLOOK:

Highland has a lot of talent this year, with two juniors who could very well end up with division one scholarship offers in Johnson and Stewart. As noted above, the Rebels are undefeated this year, and had a solid victory against Clinton last week.

Greene County Tech has struggled this year and is still searching for their first win this season. Offensive production has been minimal for the Eagles, and they are going to need a big game and major improvement to keep from losing their third straight Friday night.

Highland has a stout offensive line and plenty of depth, while Tech has a solid quarterback and running backs to rely on.
