Coach Tribble - Greenbrier.
He has turned the loveable losers into playoff contenders. He is building a juggernaut in Faulkner county, young talent, big line, tall skill position players and a rocket arm quarterback. I am looking for Greenbrier to win at least ONE playoff game this year.

As far as players, I like Rycraw.
As far as coaches, I like Paschal or Dawson. Neither have a lot of talent, but both just produce.

POY S. Kehner of Glen Rose check his numbers, every team keys on him COY Returns 3 starters and only 6 kids that even played and GR is 6-3 with losses to 4A Ashdown, 5A Hot Springs and Fountain Lake. He appears to be doing it with "smoke and mirrors"

Coach of the year list should include Rich Trail of Forrest City. Many of you probably don't remember, but FC was a powerhouse in the mid 1980s and Trail just won thier first conf. championship since 1985. He's also a great guy and does a mean Elvis impersonation.

I can't decide on the Player of the year.

Perry Escalante at Rogers Heritage--8-2 second year school in the West--Please!

From outside the state it's a little harder on coach, but player I'm just gonna throw my vote to Thamail Morgan. He came from beat down to a possible UA offer and had a massive season. No offense to Dyer or anyone else.

Player of the Year- Thamail Morgan (Cave City)
Coach of the Year- Perry Escalante (Rogers Heritage)
Escalante has taken a second year school in a town notorious for not being very good in football and managed to take them to an 8-2 record, third place finish in the toughest conference in the state. Keep in mind, their only losses are to Bentonville and Har-Ber.

I would hope that someone would consider Joe Carmical, QB-LB-DE for Monticello Billies, for player of the year especially if they make a deep run in the playoffs. Joe quietly goes about making this team click without a lot of kudos from anyone. I would venture to say the Billies would certainly not be the team that they are without his hard work, leadership, dedication, and committment.
