NORTH LITTLE ROCK - The North Little Rock Charging Wildcats dominated Jonesboro 30-6 Friday night at Charging Wildcat Stadium.
North Little Rock wide receiver K.J. Hill had a big night, starting with the Charging Wildcat's first play from scrimmage, as he caught a 48-yard pass from quarterback Heath Land.
Hill would finish the evening with 10 receptions for 143 yards and a touchdown, in addition to rushes for 24-yards, and he completed one pass for 40-yards.
Jonesboro scored on the ensuing drive on a one-yard plunge by Rodderick Pope, but North Little Rock forced a safety, then scored once again before the half on an eight-yard pass from Land to Devohn Lindsey.
Land finished the night with 22 completions for 315 yards and three touchdowns.
North Little Rock scored on their opening second half drive as well, on a one-yard run from Deion Tidwell.
The Charding Wildcats final score came with 5:08 remaining in the third quarter when Land connect with Lindsey for a 27-yard touchdown.
Jonesboro was without running back Denzel Mitchell, who missed the game with a concussion.
