One by one, Pac-10 coaches and players walked to the podium Thursday for the conference's annual media day, and it didn't take long to hear a trend develop.

Coaches spoke about a new identity in the conference. Gone are the days where quarterbacks defined the Pac-10.

This year, it's about the running backs, and some of them could give USC a little trouble.
