Can Arizona pull off the upset?
With Arizona's bowl chances hanging from a limb, the Wildcats will take on their toughest opponent yet today against Oregon. The Ducks boast a 9-1 record and have the Heismen trophy front runner Dennis Dixon taking the snaps at quarterback.
The Wildcats have looked improved lately, and must use the momentum they have built with wins over Washington and UCLA to boost their confidence and develop a winning mentality.
One of the main reasons for Arizona's recent improvement has been the play of the offensive line. Last week, the line gave quarterback Willie Tuitama enough time to throw for 341 yards, while still creating big enough holes for running back Nicolas Grigsby to eat up 130 yards on the ground.
Arizona's offensive line will need to continue its stellar improvement against an Oregon team that sacked Arizona State's quarterback Rudy Carpenter nine times in its last game. Keeping an eye on defensive end Nick Reed is a must considering that he leads the conference in sacks with 11.
