There was little doubt that Northwestern would be at or near the top of Dan Voltz's list of colleges once recruiting got underway. The Wildcats have been the favorite team of the junior tackle from Barrington (Ill.) for as long as he can remember.

Voltz's family took him to "one or two" games per year, so he's been to around a dozen games at Ryan Field. And he's watched them on television countless times, rooting for Northwestern from his couch.
